Unisnu Provides Language Courses for International Students in Language Development Unit
Universitas Islam Nahdlatul Ulama Jepara accommodates foreign students with the availability of Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) courses at Language Development Unit. The activity was conducted in 7 sessions with a duration of 3 hours each session. There are two new foreign students from India majoring in Information Systems, and from Pakistan majoring in Visual Communication Design in the 2023/2024 academic year.
The lessons taught were about daily activities, general vocabulary, and conversations in activities on campus. In practice, students are also taken to places around campus to apply the learning that has been obtained during the course, such as libraries, clinics, photocopying places, and so on. This activity is intended so that foreign students get used to and can more quickly recognize the campus environment. It is hoped that this program can facilitate foreign students in communication while studying at Unisnu.
