Mobility
The Office of International Services (OIS) at Unisnu supports and facilitates the mobility of lecturers, researchers, staff, and students to engage in activities and gain experiences abroad (outbound). OIS of Unisnu also supports and facilitates international academic and non-academic guests to engage in activities and share experiences at Unisnu Jepara (inbound). Unisnu encourages the mobility of lecturers to gain valuable experience in education, research, and community service abroad. In recent years, through scholarships from the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) and external funding sources, Unisnu has successfully sent several lecturers to pursue Ph.D. programs, such as at the University of Eastern Finland (2020 - present) and Universiti Utara Malaysia (2021 - 2023), and Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia (2019 - present). Unisnu has also sent lecturers to conduct research at the Universiti Islam Sultan Ali (2019), in addition, Unisnu has organized a community service activity in collaboration with PCI NU in Germany (2023). Regarding the mobility of academic and non-academic guests from abroad, Unisnu also has experience convening International guest lecture featured speakers from Kolej UNITI Malaysia (2017), Waku Pro Japan (2018), Embassy of Cambodia (2018), Nanyang Technological University Singapore (2019), University of Rochester (2019), Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia (2020, 2023), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (2020), Prince of Songkla University Thailand (2022), and Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (2022). In participation of students in the mobility program, students are expected to gain valuable learning experiences from abroad. Over the last five years, Unisnu has sent more than 20 students to reputable universities in Asian countries. Some of the universities include Prince of Songkla University in Thailand (2018-2019), Hanbat National University in South Korea (2020), Universiti Teknologi MARA in Malaysia (2021), Universiti of Brunei Darussalam (2017-2023), and Universiti Islam Sultan Syarif Ali (2020) in Brunei Darussalam. Unisnu has also hosted some programs, such as the Carving Fine Art Summer Program (CRAFT) in 2018 and the community service program in 2017, which intended to promote Unisnu and Jepara's potential to international students. There were 29 international students from partner universities who participated in those programs, including students from Universiti of Brunei Darussalam (2017), Universiti Teknologi MARA (2017-2018), and Overseas Students Communication Association (OSCA) Yangjiang China (2018).Lecturer Mobility
